Shifts: 6am-2pm / 8am-4pm Monday to Friday
About the Maintenance Engineer opportunity
My client are a leading supplier of systems to the rail industry.
As a Maintenance Engineer you will be responsible for Preventative and Reactive Maintenance of manufacturing equipment, Delivery Quality and Delivery Performance.
Maintenance Engineer Deliverables
Reducing production machinery downtime
Adherence to PPM schedule
Delivery Quality – including inspection regimes e.g. CMM
Delivery Performance Maintenance Engineer Person Requirements
Maintenance experience with Hydraulic Equipment
Knowledge of Drives, Controls and HMIs
MIG Welding
Knowledge of Tooling
Experienced using measurement equipment e.g. CMM, Verniers, Micrometres Maintenance Engineer Desirable Requirements
Ability to use 2D design package e.g. Autocad
Health & Safety training – ideally IOSH
HNC or similar in Mechanical Engineering Tags
Mechanical Maintenance, Hydraulics, Inspection, CMM, inspector, Continuous Improvement, Mechanical Engineer
