Job Title: SEN Teacher – Post 16 Students**
**Location: Brent, London**
**Salary: MPS (Paid to Scale)**
**Contract Type: Full-Time, Permanent**
**About the Role:**
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated SEN Teacher to join a vibrant educational setting in Brent, London. This exciting opportunity is ideal for a teacher with experience working with Post-16 students who have Special Educational Needs (SEN). As an SEN Teacher, you will play a key role in supporting students in their academic, social, and personal development, empowering them to achieve their full potential.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons tailored to the needs of Post-16 students with a range of SEN.
- Create Individualised Learning Plans (ILPs) for students and adapt the curriculum to suit diverse learning styles.
- Support the emotional and social development of students, including life skills and transition planning.
- Assess and monitor student progress regularly and provide detailed feedback to students and parents.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including teaching assistants, therapists, and other professionals.
- Contribute to a positive and inclusive school environment, fostering a culture of respect and understanding.
**About You:**
- **Must hold QTS or QTLS** and have experience teaching in a similar role.
- A strong understanding of SEN and a commitment to providing inclusive education.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively within a team.
- Passionate about supporting Post-16 students in their educational journey.
- Experience working with students with a range of learning disabilities and difficulties is desirable.
