Job Title: Temporary Roadworks Surfacing Contracts Manager

Employment Type: Temporary/ Temp to Perm

About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced Roadworks Surfacing Contracts Manager to join our team in the East Midlands on a temporary basis. This role is crucial in ensuring that road surfacing projects are completed efficiently, safely, and within budget. The ideal candidate will have a background in roadworks and surfacing, strong project management skills, and the ability to manage multiple contracts simultaneously.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee road surfacing contracts, from planning through to final delivery, ensuring all projects meet quality standards and deadlines.
Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to maintain clear communication and effective project delivery.
Monitor site operations to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and industry standards.
Manage schedules and budgets, addressing any issues that may impact project timelines or costs.
Conduct site visits and inspections to verify work quality and progress, implementing corrective actions as needed.
Prepare regular progress reports and project documentation to support decision-making and accountability.Requirements:
Proven experience in roadworks, surfacing, or construction contracts management.
Strong understanding of health and safety regulations in roadworks.
Excellent communication and team management skills.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects.
Full UK driving license is essential.Benefits:
