Senior Quantity Surveyor
Are you an experienced Quantity Surveyor seeking a rewarding new role? An exciting opportunity awaits to join a leading provider of Mechanical, Electrical, and Instrumentation Engineering Solutions as a Senior Quantity Surveyor on an EP&R project in the UK.
About the Role:
Our client operates across sectors including Energy, Power and Renewables, Pharma, Food & Beverage, and Data Centres, delivering innovative contracting solutions worldwide. With over 40 years of project delivery for Irish and multinational clients, they continue to expand across Ireland, the UK, Germany, Denmark, and Sweden.
As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you’ll bring expertise in commercial and contractual requirements throughout the project lifecycle, managing client and subcontractor relationships, conducting cost and risk analyses, and providing detailed project reports.
Key Responsibilities:
Management and ownership of the commercial and contractual requirements through the lifecycle of the project.
Responsibility for interfacing with the Client Commercial/Contract Team.
Project Procurement including Sub-contractors.
Conduct cost and risk analysis.
Review all incoming correspondence from Employers, Design Team and/or subcontractors to identify contractually critical items and initiate replies.
Manage commercial aspects of subcontractors.
Provide project costing, margin, and cashflow reports.
Manage project change order procedures and agree costs with the client.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
Minimum 3rd level qualification in Construction Economics or Quantity Surveying with 5+ years of relevant experience.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Prior experience in the electrical/mechanical field.
Strong attention to detail, with the ability to prioritise under deadlines.
Collaborative approach with the ability to influence at all levels.
Motivated by working as part of a high-performing team.
