About Us:
SEND Inclusion Support fosters an inclusive and caring educational environment for all children and young people, including those with SEND and Mental Health difficulties.

Role Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and experienced SEND/SEMH Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will work closely with the SENDCo, other school staff, and families/carers to provide tailored support for students with selective mutism and autism, fostering an environment where every child can thrive.
Key Responsibilities:
* Collaborate with the SENDCo and teaching staff to develop and implement effective support strategies for students with SEND needs.
* Conduct assessments and assist in the implementation of EHCPs to meet the diverse needs of students.
* Provide one-on-one and small group support, utilising evidence-based interventions and strategies.
* Engage with families/carers to promote understanding and support for their child’s needs.
* Monitor and track student progress, adapting approaches as necessary.
* Promote an inclusive school culture that values diversity and fosters emotional well-being.
Requirements:
* Proven experience working with students with SEND and complex needs, preferably in a school or educational setting.
* In-depth knowledge of various SEND conditions and effective support strategies.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for building positive relationships with students, colleagues, and families.
* Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for making a significant difference in the lives of students with SEND.
