JOB DESCRIPTION : Position Name : MSBI DEVELOPER Experience Required : 6 Years Salary : As per the Market Standard Notice period : Immediate Joiners Only/ Serving Notice Period Job Model : WFO Location : Bengaluru Overview : We are seeking an experienced MSBI Developer with expertise in Microsoft SQL, SSIS, and SSAS to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing, developing, and maintaining data-driven applications, focusing on Microsoft Business Intelligence technologies. You will be responsible for end-to-end BI solutions, from data integration and ETL processes to building and optimizing OLAP cubes and analytical solutions. Key Responsibilities : Develop and Manage ETL Processes : - Design, develop, and implement ETL processes using Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS). - Optimize and troubleshoot existing SSIS packages to improve performance and reliability. Data Analysis and Reporting : - Design and develop analytical solutions using SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS). - Build and maintain OLAP cubes, Data Models, and Multidimensional Expressions (MDX) queries for complex reporting and analysis. SQL Query Optimization : - Write, optimize, and maintain complex T-SQL queries for reporting, data extraction, and integration. - Ensure high performance and scalability of SQL queries, stored procedures, and triggers. BI Solution Development : - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement business intelligence solutions, ensuring accurate and timely data availability. - Develop dashboards, reports, and other BI solutions using SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) (if applicable). Database Management and Performance Tuning : - Perform database performance tuning and optimization for queries, indexes, and stored procedures. - Ensure data integrity and efficient data storage by designing normalized and de-normalized schemas. Documentation and Support : - Create detailed documentation for the SSIS/SSAS solutions developed and support users with their BI-related requirements. - Provide ongoing support for existing solutions and assist with troubleshooting and debugging as needed. Required Skills & Qualifications : Microsoft SQL Server (T-SQL) : - Expertise in writing complex queries using Transact SQL (T-SQL) for data extraction, manipulation, and analysis. - Experience with performance tuning and query optimization in SQL Server. Microsoft SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services) : - Hands-on experience in designing, developing, and managing SSIS packages for ETL processes. - Knowledge of data integration, data cleansing, and data loading techniques. Microsoft SSAS (SQL Server Analysis Services) : - Experience with building and managing SSAS cubes (Multidimensional and Tabular). - Strong knowledge of MDX, DAX, and other query languages for creating reports and analysis. Experience in BI Tools : - Familiarity with tools like Power BI or other reporting/dashboarding tools is a plus. - Experience with Data Warehousing concepts and implementations will be Skills : - Strong troubleshooting skills to resolve issues related to data integration, reporting, and performance. Communication Skills : - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with stakeholders and team members. Desired Skills (Optional but Advantageous) : - Knowledge of cloud-based data solutions (Azure, AWS, etc.). - Familiarity with data governance, security, and compliance best practices. - Experience with version control systems such as Git.
