Salary: £95 - £110 per day
Start Date: November 2024

Are you a compassionate and dedicated SEND Support Assistant? We are seeking a skilled individual to provide 1:1 support for a Year 2 pupil with specific needs, including cognitive delays, personal care requirements, and physical needs support. This rewarding role is based in a welcoming primary school environment, starting in November.
What We Need from You:
Experience working with children, particularly those with cognitive delays and additional needs.
Skills in providing personal care and supporting physical needs in an educational setting.
A patient, empathetic, and adaptable approach to working with children, ensuring they feel safe and valued.
Ability to collaborate with teachers, therapists, and parents to develop and implement tailored strategies that support the pupil's development.
A proactive attitude towards fostering independence and encouraging engagement in learning activities.What You'll Do:
Provide dedicated 1:1 support for a Year 2 pupil, focusing on their individual needs and learning goals. The pupils currently learning age is that of a year 1 pupil.
Assist with personal care tasks as required, ensuring the pupil's dignity and comfort.
Support the pupil in accessing the curriculum and participating in classroom activities.
Work closely with the class teacher and SENDCO to monitor progress and adapt strategies as needed.
