Job Description
Full-Time SEN Teaching Assistant – Immediate Start (Leigh)
Teaching Personnel is working with a welcoming primary school in Leigh, looking for a dedicated Full-Time SEN Teaching Assistant to support students with additional needs in a nurturing, inclusive environment. This is an ideal opportunity for individuals passionate about making a difference in supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
Role Highlights:
Full-time, temporary contract with potential for permanent employment
Immediate start or flexible January start date
Opportunity to work closely with SEN students in Year 2, providing tailored support and care
Pay rates up to £100 per day
Teaching Personnel offers training for those looking to qualify as a level 2 Teaching Assistant alongside your placement - please enquire for further information.
Responsibilities:
Assist the class teacher in adapting lessons to meet the needs of SEN students
Provide one-on-one and small-group support to reinforce learning and development
Use specialised strategies and resources to help students thrive academically and socially

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
