Recruitment and Development Manager


Location: Meridian Business Park, Leicester LE19


£30-40k based on experience OTE £45-50k plus benefits

As we continue to grow, we are seeking an experienced and passionate Talent Acquisition and Development Lead to join our team. This role is critical in ensuring our new hires are not only proficient in their roles but also continually developing their skills to contribute effectively to mutual success.


Role Overview:

The Recruitment and Development Manager will be responsible for overseeing the recruitment, onboarding, and training of new hires. This role requires a seasoned recruiter with over five years of experience who is adept at end to end third party recruiting and highly skilled using detailed recruitment processes and sourcing tools. You will have the exciting opportunity to enhance and elevate our Permanent and Contract team's skills, ensuring we maintain the highest standards of quality and efficiency.


Key Responsibilities:


- Recruitment:

- Manage the end-to-end recruitment process for internal hires.

- Utilise and optimise recruitment tools and platforms to source and attract top talent.

- Conduct interviews, assess candidates, and make hiring recommendations to managers


- Onboarding and Training:

- Lead a comprehensive onboarding programmes for new hires.

- Train new employees on core processes, skills, and company standards.

- Ensure new recruits are integrated smoothly and become productive quickly.


- Performance Coaching:

- Set clear performance metrics for new hires and monitor their progress.

- Work closely with new employees to ensure they reach profitability targets swiftly.

- Provide regular feedback and support to help them achieve their goals.


- Development and Upskilling:

- Conduct regular audits of the recruitment team's quality of delivery and processes.

- Identify training needs and organise ongoing training sessions to enhance skills.

- Provide coaching and mentoring to existing team members to drive continuous improvement.


Requirements:

- Proven experience as a recruiter with a minimum of 5 years in the field.

- Strong knowledge of recruitment tools and platforms, including CRM systems and job boards.

- Demonstrated experience in training and coaching recruitment teams.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
