Trainee Support Engineer

We're recruiting a Trainee Support Engineer for a business at the forefront of Food Tech and Automation.

This business is providing a fantastic opportunity in a fast-paced environment; you'll quickly become an integral part of the team while being supported with on-the-job training and qualifications.

Package:

• £25,000 to £28,000
• Additional On-Call Rota Allowance

Location:

• Peterborough
• Monday to Friday
• 08:30 to 17:00

Responsibilities:

• Provide support for clients and diagnose problems by telephone, e-mail, or face-to-face.
• Log, track, and resolve support / maintenance requests and escalate them with the Support team when required.
• Provide out-of-hours customer support on a rota basis.
• Cross-sell and up-sell products by supporting the Sales team.
• Raise issues with the Software team and report feedback from customers.
• Assist in testing new software releases.

• Knowledge of IT Systems including Microsoft Office
• UK Driving Licence
• Engineering Qualification (Preferred)
• Knowledge of PLC Programming (Preferred)
