Sign Fitter's Mate | Wallington, Surrey | Full Time PAYE Position | 40 hours per week (overtime may include nights, weekends, and international travel) | £12 per hour based on experience + Overtime + Bonuses

A1deSIGNS, a leading London-based sign maker with over 35 years of experience, is looking for an Experienced Sign Fitter's Mate to join our crew!
At A1deSIGNS, we specialise in creating vibrant, custom signage—from neon signs to CNC-cut letters, light boxes, and more. Our in-house manufacturing facility is a hub of innovation, and with a team boasting over 150 years of combined expertise, we’re known for bringing imaginative designs to life.
As a Sign Fitter's Mate, you’ll be working in varied locations such as film sets, retail spaces, and client sites. You'll also spend time in our factory, learning the ins and outs of the signage industry. No two days are the same, and this is a fantastic opportunity to get hands-on experience across a wide range of projects.
Are you the right person for the job?
A positive attitude and willingness to learn
You are able and willing to work overtime, which may include early mornings, nights, weekends and possibly staying away
You are happy working at height, the role involves working from ladders or mobile scaffolds and other access equipment at a variety of heights
Attention to detail and pride in your work
You are happy and competent in the use of hand and power tools
Good literacy and numeracy skills to interpret work orders and take measurements
You have a current Clean Full UK Driving Licence and are happy driving Long wheel based vans
A passport (required for any potential overseas work)
Desirable (But Not Essential):
NVQ in Sign Making
IPAF, PASMA, CSCS certifications
What will your role look like?
Assisting with the installation of custom signage at various client locations
Working closely with experienced sign fitters to develop your skills
Using hand and power tools to complete tasks with precision
Ensuring the quality and attention to detail in every installation
Driving to and from job sites in company vehicles
Working at heights using ladders and scaffold towers
*Please note that this role requires lifting and moving sometimes heavy and bulky items, this is something you will be comfortable doing.*
