As the Internal Sales Manager, you will play a crucial role in driving growth and managing the internal sales team.

Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the internal sales team, providing mentorship and support to individuals as needed.
Ensure the highest standard of customer service while handling incoming customer contacts through various channels.
Set and progress sales team and business targets, focusing on sales and margin growth on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
Manage the office environment, fostering professionalism and a positive working atmosphere for all.
Develop a strong new business ethic, identifying opportunities within current divisions and territories, as well as exploring new markets.
Proactively make outbound sales calls to prospects, drop-offs, lapsed customers, and new customers to generate revenue and secure margin.
Follow up on customer quotations in a timely and effective manner.
Understand and manage assigned accounts, maintaining good records and addressing individual customer needs.
Identify and pursue new opportunities to expand market share.
Utilise data management software to produce reports that drive process improvement.
Meet and exceed company set targets for accounts, including monetary and margin/profit goals.
Collaborate closely with all divisions of the business to support customers.
Conduct monthly sales reviews to identify areas of improvement and potential gains.
Manage website inquiries and suggest improvements to increase traffic to the business.
Keep customers informed throughout the sales process, involving team members when necessary.
Proactively research and implement methods to generate high-quality sales leads.
Work closely with the external sales and digital marketing teams to ensure successful campaigns and promote the brand.
Obtain and update customer contact information regularly.
Conduct customer-led market research and competitor analysis to drive supplier relationships and identify new business opportunities.
Adhere to the company's QMS contract review sales process and maintain proficiency in the ERP system.Key Competencies Required:
Previous experience in a busy customer service and sales office environment.
Excellent IT skills, particularly in MS Office, with a strong focus on data analysis and manipulation in Excel.
Strong communication skills, both written and interpersonal.
High standards of personal presentation.
Customer-focused individual with a strong team working ethic.
