Details:

• Salary: £28,449.47

• Working Hours : Afternoon shift: 14:00-22:00 (Available 5 days out of 7)
• Location: Europa Worldwide Group, Midlands Logistics Park, Unit 2, Plantation Lane, Corby, NN18 8JY
• Duration: Ongoing

What you will be doing as Stock Controller:

• Manage and update inventory spreadsheets: Keep stock data accurate and up-to-date by tracking, auditing, and reporting on inventory levels to prevent shortages or excesses.
• Resolve stock discrepancies swiftly: Investigate and fix daily stock issues by collaborating with teams, ensuring smooth operations and inventory accuracy.
• Be the go-to for warehouse concerns: Handle stock-related issues like pallet safety, over/under stocks, and racking space, optimizing storage and addressing problems proactively.
• Maintain WMS and run daily cycle counts: Ensure the Warehouse Management System runs smoothly, with regular stock checks to maintain up-to-date, accurate records.
• Ensure correct stock placement: Oversee stock organisation, ensuring items are stored properly for quick access, efficiency, and safety.
• Perform random stock checks and report quickly: Conduct surprise audits and deliver actionable reports within 24 hours, ensuring any issues are caught early.
• Follow safety protocols: Uphold safety standards to protect both inventory and staff, ensuring a secure, compliant warehouse environment.

Our Ideal Stock Controller:

• Proven experience in warehouse or inventory management.
• Proficient in using WMS and Excel or other spreadsheet software.
• Strong understanding of stock control processes and procedures.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations, particularly in a warehouse setting.
• Willingness to collaborate with different teams to overcome warehouse challenges and maintain a smooth operation.
• Takes initiative in conducting random stock checks and identifying potential problems early.
• Experience conducting cycle counts and stock audits would be desirable.
