About the Role: Kariera Group recruitment services are actively seeking a seasoned Senior Structural Engineer to join our client in Milan, Italy on a 30-month contract. Please note the candidate will be required to work on a self-employed/freelance basis. Responsibilities: Review / Lead the design and analysis of structural systems, and specifications. Utilize engineering software for structural modeling and simulations. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members. Review and approve design calculations, drawings, and specifications. Ensure that all engineering work meets quality standards and adheres to project requirements. Identify and resolve technical issues, proposing innovative solutions. Ensure adherence to local, national, and international regulations. Work closely with multidisciplinary teams, including civil, mechanical, and electrical engineers, to integrate structural designs with other engineering disciplines. Requirements: BSC Degree in oil and gas or equivalent degree. Exposure to EIPC or oil and gas industry. Proficiency in Italian and English languages. Computer skills: Engineering Design Software/ Structural Analysis Software (AUTCAD, SAP2000, STAAD.Pro, Tekla Structures). Organization skills: Time Management, Task management, Planning, Attention to Detail, Problem-Solving, Communication. PMP or similar, Certified American Institute of Steel Construction (AISC), Safety Certifications, Structural Engineering (SE) License.
