Architect

NSG has partnered with a well know Utah-based Developer that focuses Multifamily, Retail, Commercial, Land Development, and Residential Developments.

This need is for a licensed Architect based in the Salt Lake City metro area.

The ideal candidate will be a qualified architect who is able to construct clear diagrams using AutoCAD. This candidate should have an in-depth knowledge of all steps related to project completion and diligently communicate with necessary people to ensure timely execution. This candidate should also be able to conduct quality assurance checks on a frequent basis in order to ensure regulations are being followed.

Responsibilities

• Conduct design/drafting assignments of a moderately complex nature with latitude in the use of initiative and independent judgement
• Prepare layouts, drawings, and details according to direction provided by other members of the team
• Prepare Construction Documents, and city submittals
• Coordinate with the internal project team
• Explore/Research current trends in residential, multi-family, and amenities for residential projects.

Qualifications

• Licensed Architect in Utah (desired, but not required) or equivalent professional experience
• Minimum of 5+ years’ experience
• Highly Proficient in Revit and Bluebeam
• Extensive understanding of the IBC and Residential typologies designed and built under that code.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Enscape, Microsoft Office, and SketchUp
• Knowledge of latest building codes and regulatory requirements
• Excellent communication, team building, resource management and conflict resolution skills a must
