Contract Details: W-2 long-term contract
Location: Greenwood Village, CO (Remote- occasional on-site meetings; 1-2 times a month)
JOB SUMMARY
Our Fortune 500 Client is hiring a Product Delivery Manager (PDM) to be a part of The Experience Design Studio (XDS); XDS supports over 40+ products across eight different clients/business units. These products include customer facing applications and websites (some product reaching over 23 million users), as well as internal tools. The Product Delivery Manager (PDM) is a member of the XDS 10+ person team and sits within a larger internal agency for our Fortune 500 Client. You will work side-by-side with the Senior PDM handling the day-to-day design operations. This PDM position is responsible for all aspects of the development and implementation of moderately complex design initiatives, and requires a large amount of context switching, with the ability to oversee multiple products at a time (being organized is key!). You will be tracking the software delivery lifecycle end to end from ideation through production launch and beyond, and monitoring and driving delivery by implementing Agile project management best practices using project tracking tools (Jira, Trello, Confluence) and systems.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead day-to-day operations including capacity planning, sprint planning, backlog grooming, resource allocations/needs, status reporting, and project plans, while managing functional, quality, and timeline issues appropriately.
- Understands team performance metrics and oversees team health dashboard, as well as outcomes delivered vs commitments.
- Responsible for the facilitation of meetings including: Agile team ceremonies (stand-ups, retros), and weekly check-ins with Product Owner, all while ensuring communication and elimination of blockers.
- Help with team capacity planning, directing and monitoring work efforts on a daily basis, identifying resource needs, conducting quality reviews;
- Coaches and grows the team in Agile delivery practices.
- Play a key role in initiating projects through discovery, ideation, research, problem solving, and design-thinking alongside the product design team, product owners, executives and stakeholders.
- Help to uphold process and develop templates to help designers work more efficiently and effectively.
- Help to manage changing roadmaps for a subset of clients, as well as the understanding of priority of work.
- Create, maintain, and communicate planning documents leveraged for stakeholder and leadership visibility, ensures communication with technology partners and designers are in alignment throughout the phases of the project.
- Partners with cross functional teams to optimize delivery timelines, responsible for ensuring delivery of approved initiatives on time and within budget while meeting or exceeding quality standards and customer expectations.
- Actively and consistently supports all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience.
- Understands and applies the principles of risk management to accelerate delivery time.
- Communicate updates, risks, and blockers to leadership in cross-functional team stand-ups.
- Help plan team events and gatherings.
- Adheres to the Program and Portfolio standards.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE
- Proven ability to communicate orally and in writing in a clear and straightforward manner
- Proven ability to document, prepare, and deliver data-driven presentations to various levels of the organization
- Proven ability to implement project plans and monitor progress, resource usage and quality
- Proven ability to conduct risk assessments and develop plans for eliminating or mitigating the risks identified
- Proven ability to context switch and understand priority of work, extremely organized
- Proven understanding of design, research, and the various roles within a product design lifecycle
- Ability to define key performance indicators/metrics
- Ability to show judgment and initiative to accomplish job duties
- Ability to develop strong working relationships with peers and project members
- Ability to implement project plans and monitor progress, resource usage and quality
- Ability to drive communication, issue resolution, and integration planning with upstream/downstream systems and departmental units
- Experienced in intra team collaboration and conflict resolution, communication across platforms and with stakeholders
- Experience with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and project tracking tools
- Experience in Jira and backlog management
- Experience in design execution and the use of FigmaExperience working in or with a product design team

Required Education
Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent Scrum Master/Agile certification
Required Related Work Experience and Number of Years
Delivery management experience - 3-5 years
Experience working in an Agile software development environment - 2-3 years
Experience working with Design teams and the design thinking process – 1-2 years
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Preferred Skills/Abilities and Knowledge
- Multi-disciplinary expertise, as scrum master, Agile coach, product owner, project manager, release train engineer, business analyst while enabling flexibility of team structure and providing efficiencies that reduce overall team role count and expenditure
- Experience with Microsoft Suite products
- Experience with Jira, Trello, Confluence, OneDrive, and SharePoint
- Knowledge of SAFE Agile principals
Preferred Related Work Experience and Number of Years
Experience with release management responsibilities – 1-2 years
