Director of Field Operations
Our client, a distinguished custom home builder with over five decades of industry excellence, is seeking an experienced Director of Field Operations to lead and oversee the on-site management of their residential construction projects.

Focus:
- Lead field operations, managing multiple residential construction projects to ensure timely delivery, adherence to budget, and high-quality execution.
- Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure all field operations align with company standards and client expectations.
- Oversee the implementation and adherence to safety protocols, building regulations, and compliance with local codes.
- Ensure effective use of construction management tools for scheduling, budgeting, and project tracking, with a focus on maintaining efficiency and cost control.
- Resolve any on-site challenges that arise during the construction process while maintaining strong communication with all stakeholders.
Skill Set:
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline (Master’s degree is a plus).
- At least 10 years of hands-on experience in construction management, with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership role, particularly overseeing field operations within residential development.
- In-depth understanding of construction techniques, industry standards, building codes, and safety regulations, specifically within the residential homebuilding sector.
- Proficiency in construction and warranty management software, as well as project scheduling and budgeting tools. Familiarity with BuildPro is highly desirable.
- Exceptional leadership and communication skills to manage teams, contractors, and client relationships.
- Strong problem-solving ability, ensuring swift and effective resolutions to on-site issues.
- Adept at managing multiple projects simultaneously with a focus on high-quality construction and customer satisfaction.
