Who We Are:

With over 37 years of experience, TIS continues to excel in serving the healthcare, commercial, and institutional tenant improvement industries. We are seeking passionate, team-oriented estimators to join us.

What We Need: We're in search of individuals who understand the following:

1. Technical Expertise: A solid understanding of mechanical system types, electrical, plumbing, fire life safety (FLS), energy management systems (EMS), walls, and other essential components of commercial project assembly.
2. Blueprint Proficiency: The ability to read and comprehend construction drawings and specifications.
3. Construction Estimation Knowledge: Familiarity with industry-standard processes such as creating scopes of work, assembling estimates, conducting pre-bid job walks, take-offs, value engineering, RFI’s.
4. Communication Skills: Excellent communication abilities, capable of collaborating effectively with teammates, clients, subcontractors, and local and state governing agencies.

Skills:

1. Tech-Savvy: Proficiency with on screen take off software, sketch up, estimating software experience.
2. Detail Oriented: Strong ability to read and analyze plans, create scope of work for subcontractors and clients. Perform accurate quantity takeoffs.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Project Coordinator or Estimator.
• Medical or hospital estimating experience would be helpful.
• Applicant must be located in Southern California / Los Angeles Area.
