Account Management:Implement and drive sales strategies within defined territory; identify opportunities with current customer base as well as prospecting new customers. Resolve customer concerns regarding product and/or functionality of product.Prepare sales contracts; determine pricing based on market information. Develop and maintain professional communications with all levels of staff and customers, externally and internally.Strive to resolve any concerns and problems with open, honest communication which builds trust and respect in your role and in Blommer Chocolate. Prepare paperwork to activate and manage customer contracts to ensure proper timing, quantity and costing of specific products as well as customer pull from active contracts.Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and innovations related to the defined territory to provide solutions to customers. Collaborate with the Technical Sales Specialist and the Lead on a regular basis.Represent the company at trade shows, conferences, and seminars.Coordinate proper company resources to ensure effective sales support. Update sales tools to provide forecast information to management and identify potential customer growth.Prepare and present proposals to customers.When the incumbent is unavailable this position is supported by Account Managers from other territories or the Regional Sales Director.Operate within the core values of respect and care for others.Customer Relationship Management:Keeps management informed by updating CRM and compiling call reports and monthly segment sales analyses.Collaborate with customers to understand their unique requirements and provide tailored technical solutions.Actively manage open contracts to ensure the volume and timeline are honored to completion by both the customer and Blommer.Sales Strategy and Execution:Services existing customer accounts, and establishes new accounts by prospecting, researching, planning and organizing daily work schedule to call on existing and potential sales outlets.Responsible for utilizing the sales process and working independently to carry an opportunity all the way through the sales cycle from prospecting, to closing the sale.Prepare annual budget based on customer sales forecasts.Training and Education:Attend Portfolio Trainings for the Sales Team to understand new products and their value propositions.Create and present professional presentations by working closely with R&D and marketing to meet customer expectations.Maintain a high level of product and customer knowledge, research customer needs and product applications. Establish industry contacts; follow up on sales leads and referrals.Maintain understanding of industry trends and technical developments that affect targeted industries.Extensive travel up to 60%
