The Role:
As Maintenance Manager, you’ll oversee the maintenance operations across our production facilities, ensuring smooth, efficient, and safe manufacturing processes. You’ll play a key role in minimising downtime, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and supporting our company’s ambitious growth.
Key Responsibilities:
* Leadership: Manage and develop a skilled team of engineers and technicians, promoting a culture of safety, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
* Preventative Maintenance: Implement and oversee preventative maintenance programs to minimise downtime and ensure high equipment performance.
* Problem Solving: Quickly diagnose and resolve breakdowns, working hands-on when needed to support the team.
* Compliance: Ensure all machinery, systems, and procedures comply with food safety, health, and environmental regulations.
* Budget Management: Effectively manage maintenance budgets, including spare parts and contractor expenses.
What We’re Looking For:
* Proven experience in a maintenance management role, ideally within food manufacturing or a similar FMCG environment.
* Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and PLC systems, with a hands-on approach to troubleshooting.
* Leadership experience, with a track record of developing and motivating technical teams.
* A proactive mindset with strong problem-solving skills and an eye for continuous improvement.
* Good understanding of health and safety, and compliance within a manufacturing environment.
