Job Description

We are proud to be retained by a large and successful, family owned hospitality business, to manage their search for a new In-house Lawyer.


The successful individual will provide sound, quality and accurate legal advice and guidance across a wide range of areas that often impact decisions made by the business.


The role would suit someone from industry, or in Practice looking for their first role in industry.


You will be part of a team of 2 and become the first point of contact for all legal queries, as well as supporting the CEO and owner with key decision making and problem solving.


Key responsibilities:

  • Provide relevant, accurate and timely advice across a variety of topics
  • Draft, review and negotiate a range of commercial contracts and agreements across a number of different areas
  • You will be required to manage and mitigate legal risk through ensuring the right company processes and procedures are in place, where missing, design and implement
  • Ensuring you are up to date with changes to legislation, in relation to laws, rules and regualtions that directly effect the hospitality and leisure sector
  • Build relationships of trust with senior stakeholders



Key skills & Experience:

  • Sound generalist legal knowledge from property sales, commercial property, planning law, premises licensing, rates valuations to data protection.
  • The ability to influence
  • Qualified Solicitor
  • Demonstrates a commercial mind set and business acumen
  • strong communication skills
  • hight level of accuracy and attention to detail
