Probate Paralegal (12 Month FTC)

A highly-regarded law firm are looking for a readily available Probate Paralegal to join their London team on an initial 12 Month FTC.

A brief overview of the tasks and duties involved:

• Collating information for assets and liabilities - preparing basic letters, making calls etc.
• Drafting Legal Statements and basic inheritance tax accounts
• Carrying out Bankruptcy searches/Land Registry searches/ ID for beneficiaries /Companies House searches/will searches/asset searches
• Chasing HMRC and the Probate Registry by phone
• E-Filing, and where required helping with paper files/ring binders
• Helping keep precedents and probate checklist up to date
• Reviewing/closing client files
• Other ad hoc paralegal and administrative duties

Applicants must have full UK working rights, and be available immediately or within a short notice period.

Superb academics, a keen eye for detail, and strong organisational skills are essential.
