Position: SEND Teaching Assistant (TA)
Key Stage: EYFS & KS 1
Location:
Start date: ASAP
Pay: £85 - £90 per day
The role:
We are looking for an enthusiastic, committed and compassionate individual to support children with special educational needs in the classroom. As an SEND Teaching Assistant (TA) sometimes known as a Learning Support Assistant (LSA), you will be working with others to provide assistance, often working on a 1 to 1 basis with children helping them to develop academically, socially and emotionally.
The applicant:
The successful applicant is expected to have maths and English (GCSE grade C/4 and above) or alternatively a suitable childcare qualification. SEND qualification is preferred but not essential. Experience and personality are equally desirable. Being able to work in a team as well as individually is important to provide maximum support to the class teacher.
