Sales Engineer
Location: Gateshead, UK (National role)
Salary: 32,000 - 40,000 (+ Company car)
Job Type: Full-time, PermanentWe are on the lookout for a dynamic and results-driven Sales Engineer to join our clients innovative design and manufacturing business. As a trusted partner across various sectors in the UK, they specialise in delivering temporary, semi-permanent, and permanent construction solutions. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales within an engineering business and possess the ability to understand and communicate complex technical solutions to a diverse client base.
Day to day of the role:
Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients across various sectors.
Identify new business opportunities to achieve sales targets and expand market presence.
Understand client needs and provide tailored solutions that meet their requirements.
Collaborate with the design and manufacturing teams to ensure client specifications are met.
Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to clients.
Negotiate contracts and close sales deals.
Provide technical support and product knowledge to clients.
Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Proven experience in sales within an engineering or technical environment.
Strong understanding of engineering principles and products.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients.
Strong negotiation and closing skills.
Self-motivated with a results-oriented mindset.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
