Job Description
Express Recruitment are delighted to be working with a Construction Machinery Provider based in Leicester who are looking for an experienced Workshop Engineer to join their team of Engineering professionals in a fast based, construction workshop environment to primarily rebuild plant machinery engines and fixing circuits.
Their ideal candidate will have considerable experience working in a similar role in a workshop environment and have a mechanical fitter, or similar, qualification.
For their ideal candidate, they are offering a competitive salary of up to c£34,000 per annum D.O.E and a generous benefits package.
Roles and Responsibilities
* Rebuild engines from plant machinery including excavators, dumpers, rollers, and telehandlers
* Fix electrical and hydraulic circuits
* Work individually and in a team
* Log information on jobs for the aftersales team
* Work in a fast paced, construction workshop environment
Skills and Experience
* Considerable experience working in a similar role in a workshop environment
* Mechanical Fitting or similar qualification
* Experience within the construction and/or agricultural environment is highly desirable
* Confident completing multiple tasks simultaneously in a high-pressure environment
* Experience fault-finding, maintaining, building, and/or repairing plant machinery is highly desirable
* Confident working both individually and in a team
