Position Highlights:
Full-time, permanent role
Competitive salary: £24,000 per annum
Hybrid working available after successful completion of the probation period

What You'll Be Doing:
As a Finance Assistant, you’ll be instrumental in managing client bank accounts and providing vital support to the expanding Tax Client Portfolio. Your responsibilities will include:
Reconciliation of client accounts, ensuring accurate allocation of self-assessment receipts and managing disbursements
Preparing invoicing data for outsourcing partners
Processing daily and weekly payments for self-assessment rebates
Generating and managing self-assessment invoices
Overseeing credit control collections across various products and liaising with the underwriting team
Maintaining strong client relationships, resolving queries via phone and email promptly and professionally
Collaborating with colleagues, clients, and third-party suppliers to ensure smooth operations
Adhering to established processes, ensuring full compliance with finance and tax regulations
Identifying opportunities to improve processes and enhance efficiency
What We're Looking For:
A solid understanding of accountancy and tax regulations
Previous experience in an office or accountancy environment
Advanced IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Excel, and confidence working with bespoke systems
Strong numeracy, accuracy, and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
