Quantity Surveyor

To support our continued growth, RJ Drylining are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor.

With potential to grow and lead a commercial team as the business develops, the ideal candidate will be someone with 5+ year’s experience who is looking to take the next step in their career, and works to strong professional values.

Essential Attributes of the candidate include:

· Degree and/or track record in Quantity Surveying

· Experience with drylining and wall finishes packages

· Able to demonstrate alignment and work in line with the company values

· Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills

· Strong analytical skills and commercial /contractual awareness

· Full UK driving license and access to own vehicle

Desirable attributes of the candidate include:

· Knowledge of fire protection, SFS, screed works

· Familiarity with Chalkstring software

Responsibilities

· Advising on and negotiating contracts

· Preparation of substantiated applications and final accounts

· Managing variations, delays and claims

· Assist with pre-construction handovers

· Reporting on project metrics

· Assist with estimating and procurement of best rates

Predominantly working between office location in central Essex and sites in London & South East.

Pay Structure and Future Progression

£40,000 - £50,000 dependant on experience, plus attractive profit-share (details available on enquiry).

Potential to grow and lead a commercial team as the business grows, and become a key member of the management team in a close team environment.
