Job Title: Pipefitter
Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Pipefitter to join our team on a new build project for a mixed-use residential pro, which includes the construction of flats and bungalows. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation of communal copper and steel pipework systems, ensuring compliance with all relevant building standards and regulations.
Pipefitter Key Responsibilities:
* Install and connect new copper and steel piping systems for water supply, heating, and drainage.
* Follow architectural and engineering drawings to ensure proper installation and layout of plumbing systems.
* Coordinate with site supervisors to plan and execute installation schedules efficiently.
* Ensure all plumbing installations meet the required quality standards and adhere to safety regulations.
* Adhere to all health and safety protocols on-site, promoting a safe working environment.
* Participate in safety meetings and training sessions as required.
Pipefitter Requirements:
* Relevant plumbing qualifications (e.g., NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Plumbing and Heating).
* Valid plumbing fitter certification and health and safety training (e.g., CSCS card).
* Proven experience in pipefitting, particularly with new build projects.
