Building Surveyor - Pathway to Partnership for the Right Candidate
An independent construction consultancy with over 40 years of industry expertise is seeking a Building Surveyor to join their accomplished team of 22, comprising both Building Surveyors and Architectural Technologists.
This is a rare opportunity for an ambitious and self-sufficient Building Surveyor to take on a role with clear progression towards partnership as part of a structured succession plan.
The succesful Building Surveyor Role
The successful Building Surveyor will handle a broad range of services, with a strong focus on contract administration and specification writing.
Working mainly on commercial property projects, including clients such as the Royal Mail, you will join a collaborative team environment where your growth and development are actively supported.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver contract administration and specification writing services for a range of commercial projects
Work closely with a diverse client base, including high-profile names within the commercial sector
Collaborate with an experienced team while demonstrating self-sufficiency in managing project tasks
Take on increasing leadership responsibilities with a clear path to partnership
The Ideal Building Surveyor
MRICS qualified (preferred but not essential)
RICS-accredited degree
Solid experience within a construction consultancy environment
Strong proficiency in contract administration and specification writing
Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Salary: £55,000 - £65,000
Hybrid working: 2 days in the office per week
Holiday: 25 days annual leave
