Air Conditioning Engineer
Up to £42,000 plus van and fuel card
RAF Lakenheath
Monday to Friday 8:00am - 16:30pm
25 Days Plus 8 Bank Holidays

Applicants for thie Air Conditioning role require the following-
- You will be an accomplished Air Conditioning Engineer ideally qualified to Level 2 NVQ in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration but not essential
- Hold a 2079 Safe Handling of Refrigerants Certificate (F-Gas).
- Have experience in working with VRV's, Split Units and AHU's
- Have experience of general building maintenance
- Proficient in fault finding and repair
Key Responsibilities as an Air Conditioning Engineer
Ensure that Planned Preventative Maintenance and reactive works are carried out in line with task schedules and industry best practices, to ensure the responsible sites are fully compliant and follow industry best practices.
Daily monitoring and responsibility of all main plant and equipment within buildings
Reactive attendance to emergency call-outs plus subsequent fault diagnosis and repair
Working on VRVs, Split Units, Chillers and AHUs.
Working knowledge of Health and Safety procedures and can implement these on site.
Establish and maintain a good working relationship with all employees and clients' representatives.
Maintain the professional image of the company always and promote their services.
Ensure that engineering subcontractors are appropriately supervised, and comply with contractual commitments, and site operating processes.
Promote and maintain the core Values of the company & the client.
Ensure that engineering subcontractors are appropriately supervised, and comply with contractual commitments, and site operating processes.
Work on own and as part of a team
Improve site compliance and manage the site logbook system
To oversee the management of the on-site CAFM and Concept systems and ensure all PPM and reactive tasks are completed within SLA.
Receiving client issues and resolving these issues effectively without disruption to business or compromising client relationships.
Be prepared for inclusion on a call out rota for out of hour's emergency response.
