Technical Coordinator, Surrey*
As a result of their continued successful growth this cutting edge developer requires a Technical Coordinator to be based in Surrey. Established for 60 years, they have a reputation for designing and building award winning, mixed-tenure developments and creating homes with a unique style, setting them aside from their competitors.
The main responsibilities will include:
Liaising with appropriate authorities
Ensuring drawings are produced to enable a site to be developed
Checking detailed construction drawings
Identifying and resolving technical and construction issues as they arise
Delivering technical design approvals for the projects
Working within established budgets
Preparing and presenting the design program at progress meetings
Carrying out site inspectionsSuitable applicants will possess a strong knowledge of house construction and a level of flair for design. Ideally candidates will be degree educated in Architecture or Civil Engineering or, possess an HNC in Building Studies or a related discipline.
Applicants most suited will already be working for a developer or contractor in a junior coordination role but be seeking the next step in their career and a desire to work for a developer who has built themselves an enviable reputation. Job running Architects/Technicians with extensive residential experience will also be considered.
Offering up to £40k - £55k plus a generous package and agile working.
