Mechanical Design Engineer - Stourbridge
£45,000

A new and exciting opportunity has arisen for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join a UK known food manufacturer in the Stourbridge Area!
With no day ever being the same the Mechanical Design Engineer role offers genuine long-term progression and career development within a first-class organisation.
Role & Responsibilities:
Provide first-class design of machinery and tooling
Required to perform all aspects of machinery design, including but not limited to conceptual sales support and sales proposal drawings, BOM's, Assembly drawings and interaction with PLM document management system
You will be required to design and project manage, to deliver robust machinery designs per specification, on-time and in-budget.
You will be required to liaise with colleagues and group companies, customers and suppliers
Assist with and manage installations, start-ups and commissioning of equipment
Liaise with engineering, sales and other group companies as required on both new and existing projects and potential leads.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
Autodesk Inventor Professional and AutoCAD Mechanical design software experience
Experience with rollforming and/or coil processing machinery
Have at least three (3) years' experience in machinery design.
Knowledge of electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic circuits, roll tool and tool/die design would be beneficial.
