Job Description
Role – Technical Advisor/Co-Ordinator
Location – Birmingham
Salary - £26,000 - £31,500
Our client is seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Technical Advisor/Co-Ordinator to join their dynamic team. In this role, you will provide essential support to Engineering and Environmental managers, ensuring smooth operations and assisting with technical matters across our projects.
Key Responsibilities
Co-Ordinating workloads and working with other departments.
Act as the first point of contact for senior managers and departments, providing technical, contractual, and administrative support.
Manage RFIs (Requests for Information) and Departure responses, ensuring timely and accurate communication.
Coordinate departmental meetings, including preparing agendas, managing actions, and taking minutes as needed.
Assist with the preparation of briefing materials, presentations, and reports for senior management.
Develop and maintain efficient information systems (MS Teams, SharePoint, and eB) to ensure smooth documentation management.
Support ongoing project operations, including liaising with document control teams across multiple organisations. Key Skills & Experience
Strong communication and time management skills with the ability to prioritize effectively.
Someone from an environmental, Civil, Construction Engineering background would be ideal.
Proficiency in MS Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Teams, Outlook).
Familiarity with database systems such as Assetwise or eB.
Engineering-related post-A-level qualification or equivalent experience is preferred.
Experience in coordinating technical meetings and supporting senior-level teams. Additional Information
You will be working with a team of experienced professionals to support the delivery of major infrastructure projects.
No direct reports or budgetary responsibility, but you will play a crucial role in supporting the completion of complex work packages
