Interim Head of Finance (15-Month Contract) - Warrington
Are you an experienced finance professional looking to make a meaningful impact in a dynamic, multi-entity organisation? Our client, a well-established company in Warrington, is seeking a Head of Finance for a 15-month contract as they embark on a period of growth.

• Contract: 15 months
• Salary: Circa £85,000 - £100,000 package
• Location: Warrington (Hybrid: 3 days in office, 2 days from home)

Role Overview: Reporting directly to the CFO, you will be responsible for overseeing the finance function across multiple entities, leading all financial operations and ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial information. This role offers the chance to work closely with senior management, making key contributions to financial strategy and operations.
Key Responsibilities:

• Lead all finance operations across multiple entities
• Ensure accuracy and delivery of internal and external financial information, reporting, and transactions
• Oversee management accounts review, P&L analysis, balance sheet reconciliations, board pack papers, and statutory accounts, including consolidations
• Manage cash flows, payroll, budgeting, and forecasting processes
• Oversee the completion of management, board, and fund packs
• Establish and maintain financial control systems and procedures to manage risks
• Collaborate with senior operational management to produce budgets and forecasts
• Ensure tax and regulatory compliance is met
• Lead the external audit process, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness
• Oversee debt financing and reporting, and act as the main point of contact for banking facilities

About You:

• ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified, with previous experience in a similar senior finance role
• Experience managing finances for multi-entity organisations
• Strong technical finance background and stakeholder management skills
• Hands-on approach, with a desire to lead by example and make a difference
