Business Development – UK Sales Manager
Durham

On site with UK travel

We are seeking a proactive and enthusiastic Sales Manager to join a dynamic team. This role will focus on identifying new end user clients and re-sellers, building and maintaining relationships with key clients. The ideal candidate will have sales expertise, people management experience and a commitment to excellence in customer service.
Role Outline
* Provide tailored solutions to clients, showcasing the value and importance of quality.
* Conduct presentations and demonstrations, creating compelling proposals to meet client needs.
* Conduct regular site visits to assess client needs and survey potential sites.
* Prepare and manage sales forecasts, budgets, and reports using CRM software.
* Stay updated on industry trends and competitors to identify opportunities for sales growth.
* Explore partnerships with organizations to enhance visibility and sales opportunities.
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with a portfolio of clients including government agencies, heritage organizations, and private sector clients.
* Overseeing a team, setting KPIs and mentoring
Requirements
* Senior sales and business development experience, preferably within the construction, architecture, manufacturing, engineering sectors.
* Experience selling a ‘solution’
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with diverse stakeholders.
* Excellent negotiation skills with a strategic mindset.
* Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
* An interest in historic buildings, conservation, architectural heritage etc
* A full UK driving licence
* Able to travel across the UK to fulfil the role
* People management skills and experience.
* Based on site in Durham when not traveling.
