Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 per annum

We are looking for a Home Manager to run a well-established elderly care home based in the historical town of Cardiff, South Wales. This home is with a provider who emphasises the importance of high-quality care delivered to residents, the care of the patient is at the forefront of all they do, which is mirrored by the tailored personal care plan given to each resident. The home is enriched with picturesque grounds within the Cardiff area.

Who are we looking for ?

You will either be a Home Manager who has experience of managing a residential home. As the Home Manager, you will need to showcase your ability to lead a team of multi skilled professionals including a Deputy Manager, Unit Managers, Care Assistants, Administrators, Housekeepers, Catering and Site Maintenance Personnel.


You will be accountable for all residents within the home ensuring that their emotional, physical and social needs are adhered to. Whilst also ensuring that the environment is compliant with the local governing bodies. Having experience of delivering CIW compliance will be paramount to your success.


The successful candidate will have a Registered Managers Award Level 5 and be able to evidence they have what it takes to run a successful care home in line with commercial and quality outcomes.to the home being a mix of residential and nursing resident, Ideally you will be a Registered Nurse. However, this is desired and not essential.


Due to the nature of the role, it is vital for the successful person to have a flexible and dynamic approach to support the needs of the service.

Requirements

  • Home Manager experience
  • Leadership and Management in care level 4/5 or want to learn
  • RGN, active Pin – desired not essential
  • A flexible and dynamic approach
  • Passion for elderly care


Location

This home is easily commutable from the following locations Newport, Penarth, Barry, Pontypridd, Pontyclun, St Mellons, Blackwood, Rhoose and Cowbridge


Summary

We are looking for a Home Manager to join our valued client and run their stunning care home in the Cardiff area. In return you will be compensated a salary of circa £60,000 per annum + additional benefits, which will be discussed at interview stage.
