Maintenance Attendant

POSITION DESCRIPTION: Located in the heart of downtown St-Bruno, Jazz St-Bruno is fortunate to welcome a golden clientele, autonomous or losing their autonomy. We are currently looking for a maintenance attendant. Together with the maintenance director, this person will ensure the maintenance of the building and the requisitions of the residents. Are you manual, versatile, passionate about the different systems of a building and like to be of service? This position is definitely for you. Permanent position, full-time 40 hours per week, day and evening from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. or 12 p.m. to 8 p.m., 3 days a week and weekends. Evening premium applicable. ROLE AND GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Clear snow or salt exterior entrances Construction Be available to respond to emergencies Make service calls Minor repairs in apartments and common areas (plaster, paint, change lights, various installations, etc.) Perform minor repairs in apartments and common areas EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: 1 year of relevant experience will be considered an important asset Knowledge of retirement homes, a major asset Knowledge of plumbing, electrical and minor repairs Professional training in general building maintenance (an asset) BENEFITS: Salary to be discussed Uniform provided Referral Program Sick days and time off for family obligations Employee Assistance Program Vacation A human approach to management A welcoming and tightly knit team JOB STATUS: Permanent: Full Time JOB SCHEDULE: Multiple schedules available
