Production Planning Specialist

We are supporting one of our customers in the manufacturing sector, located in the Laurentians, in their search for a production planning specialist. Responsibilities : -Develop and maintain the Master Production Plan (MPP). -Define procurement strategies, in conjunction with the procurement department. -Monitor parts availability and make up plans. -Plan, release and monitor progress of production orders. -Coordinate activities with other departments -Coordinate change management activities. -Update sector performance indicators Qualifications : -Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-priority environment -Positive attitude and team spirit -Resourceful and self-reliant -Organized and rigorous -Results-oriented -Continuous Improvement -5-8 years experience in production planning -DEC or other relevant diploma -Knowledge of ERP (INFOR suite is an asset) -Knowledge of MS Office suite -Bilingualism (spoken and written) -APICS certification an asset The use of English is required for the following reasons: -Communication with international customers -Collaboration with English-speaking partners -Drafting documents in English PROCESS: Initial interview with Gabriel Lemoine, Fed Supply Recruitment Consultant - followed by an interview with the company's Human Resources Manager and Position Manager.
