About the Role: Kariera Group recruitment services are actively seeking a seasoned Senior Electrical Engineer to join our client in Milan, Italy on a 30 month contract. Please note the candidate will be required to work on a self employed/ freelance basis. Responsibilities: Develop detailed project plans, including scope, timelines, resources, and budgets. Create schedules using project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Primavera) to track project milestones and deliverables. Monitor project budgets and expenditures, ensuring alignment with financial forecasts. Conduct cost analysis and variance reporting to identify and address budget discrepancies. Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impact on project delivery. Monitor risk factors throughout the project lifecycle and adjust plans as necessary. Oversee the procurement process for project materials, equipment, and services, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to specifications. Collaborate with procurement teams to prepare bid documents, evaluate vendor proposals, and negotiate contracts. Ensure compliance with procurement policies and procedures, conducting vendor assessments and maintaining relationships with suppliers. Work closely with project managers, engineers, procurement teams, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment on project objectives and deliverables. Facilitate communication between project teams and external parties to support project execution. Ensure adherence to local, national, and international regulations. Requirements: Proficiency Level in English and Italian languages. Computer skills : Engineering Design Software (e.g., AutoCAD), Electrical Simulation Software, Microsoft office, Power System Analysis Software. Organization skills: Time Management, Task management, Planning, Attention to Detail, Problem-Solving, Communication, Problem-Solving. PMP or similar, Certified Electrical Safety Compliance Professional (CESCP) , IEC 61508 Functional Safety Certification , Safety Certifications, Professional Engineer (PE) License preferred .
