Please find the position details below : Company : MNC IT Company Role : Test Automation Engineer - Eggplant Automation Type : Permanent (No third-party payroll) Location : PAN India Joining : 0 to 30 days / Immediate Joiners Job Description : We are looking for a talented and motivated Test Automation Engineer with 6 years of hands-on experience in automation testing using Eggplant Functional. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in scripting with SenseTalk and a solid understanding of test management tools, version control systems, and CI/CD pipelines along with knowledge of testing best practices. Key Responsibilities and skillset : - Execute automated/ manual tests - analyze failures for root causes, identify and document quality issues/ defects - Communicate issues and status clearly to the development team and stakeholders including driving investigations/ fixes to closure - Design new tests/ automation scripts and update existing tests/ automation scripts based on software design/ requirements - Investigate and troubleshoot failures of automation scripts - Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using Eggplant Functional. - Utilize version control systems such as Git/Sourcetree for managing test script repositories. - Use test management tools like RQM and defect tracking tools like JIRA. - Use or be aware of CI/CD tools like Jenkins. - Excellent troubleshooting skills and attention to detail. - Experience in the healthcare domain and automating desktop applications is highly desirable. Passion for quality and continuous improvement. - Hands-on experience with Selenium would be a plus.
