Job Location: Fort Worth, TX Job Type: Full TimeShifts Available: 2ndCompensation: $23.50/hr Benefits InformationMedical, Dental, Vision Insurance Health and Wellness IncentivesPaid Vacation and Holidays401(k) with Cargill matching contributionsFlexible Spending Accounts (FSAs)Short-Term Disability and Life InsuranceEmployee Assistance Program (EAP)Tuition ReimbursementEmployee Discounts Principal Accountabilities A documented weekly check (undocumented daily checks) of the personal safety equipment and any other departmental safety factors, of employees within their department, to ensure that it is being worn properly and is in good repairIn an emergency the Trainer will assist Supervisor(s) in managing the evacuation of Stakeholders, assist in the head count, and assist Supervisor(s) in a sweep of the area if possibleConduct periodic safety tours with the Supervisor(s) to identify unsafe conditions and unsafe actsPerform any safety related functions deemed necessary and pertinent by the Supervisor(s) and Plant ManagerBehavioral Based Safety Observation [BBS] – note each observation and follow up with at risk behaviors. – Train, participate and conduct BBS Audits and Observation Reviews. Attend Bi- weekly BBS observation meetingsHelp with LIFE Savers – communications and field checksAssist/Conduct departmental monthly safety meetingsAssist management in disbursement and reinforcement of safety material, policies, rules, etcLead the Forklift Certification Process and Program Participate in the Ergonomics Team Perform the Annual Authorized Stakeholder Lock Out / Tag out Audits and Periodic Inspections Look for hazards on the production floor and create notification if neededNear Miss Program - Participate and Champion the programMonthly EHS inspectionsUpdating JTP’sAll other duties as assigned ​​​​Required QualificationsMust be able to read and write EnglishComputer skills a plus, however if not skilled, must be willing and able to learn documenting, filing, and computer skillsMust be willing and able to communicate well and always maintain a professional business-like attitude and relationship with the Stakeholders being trained as well as with the Supervision and Management that must be worked with dailyReceive Annual Training in Hazard Recognition/Awareness to complete the daily PPE Surveys for their departments and weekly department Safety Checklists (Safety Scan)Receive annual Fire Extinguisher TrainingReceive Bloodborne Pathogens TrainingReceive Basic First Aid and CPR Training as deemed necessaryPeriodic Shift flexibility: (1st and 2nd) Preferred QualificationsFluent in Spanish (read/write) 1 year experience in leading TeamConsidered candidates will receive a phone call from a (952) area code.
