If you are creative and committed to helping people, you will love working with us!What’s In It For You?Base salary + bonus opportunitiesAdvancement opportunitiesExposure to executive leadershipOpportunity to work with the largest new home builders in IndianapolisTeam outings and company-sponsored volunteer events4 weeks of Paid Time Off!Access to health and life insurance, 401(k), paid parental leave, company discounts, etc. What Will You Be Doing?Oversee Investigation of land details and due diligence to determine eligibility for land acquisitionCoordination with Land Acquisition Managers through the negotiation for purchaseOversee and consult with municipal staff on timelines and application processesOversee the completion, submittal and approval of zoning applications, including rezone, PUD, plat, variances, and amendmentsReview municipal ordinances and write PUD development standards, ordinances and related documentsConsult with engineers and landscape architects on design and layout of conceptual plansOversee and review due diligence packages and site inspections for development related issuesFacilitate and attend meetings with key stakeholders, to include utility providers, planning staff, government officials, civic organizations, and local neighborhood groups, as well as public hearings and neighborhood meetingsPrepare all presentation materials for public hearings and stakeholder meetingsWork with the Land Development and Construction teams to ensure that development and construction are in compliance with all requirements.What Will You Bring?A Bachelor's degree in urban planning, landscape architecture, civil engineering, construction management, business, or a related field of studyExperience in real estate or local government is a plusExcellent communication and problem solving skillsStrong organizational and time management skills Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships This is subject to change based on needs or if special circumstances should arrive.Arbor Homes is an equal opportunity employer that is committed to inclusion and diversity.
