This position is in Cargill’s protein and salt business, where we provide wholesome, high-quality food products to a wide range of customers, from foodservice operators and grocery stores to manufacturers and exporters.Job Purpose and Impact The Maintenance Trainer, will direct the continuous improvement in process and asset reliability through the detection and elimination of defects. In this role, you will supervise a team focused on the optimization of equipment maintenance and technical and operational activities.Key Accountabilities Supervise the execution of the development, design and installation of predictive maintenance programs and technologies in alignment with the area procedures.Oversee the technical reviews of projects and partner with related areas on new equipment reliability specifications.Lead the identification and elimination of bad actors and the optimization of equipment availability.Provide guidance to maintenance repairs and production, in reliability related processes and the identification of critical spare.Other duties as assignedResponsible for personnel decisions related to hiring, performance and disciplinary actions for your direct reports. You will also spend time completing the same tasks as employees on your team.Qualifications Minimum QualificationsBachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experienceMinimum one year of directly related work experiencePreferred QualificationsOperations planning, safety and quality ownershipKnowledge of safety principles and methodologiesLean six sigmaOne year of supervisory experienceJob Description This position will provide relocation.The expected salary for this position is from $84,000 to $90,000. Compensation varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific location, certifications, education, and level of experience.
