Proposals Manager Purpose
We’re seeking a Proposals Manager to join our Work-Winning Team. This role is critical to the success of Careys’ 5-Year Strategic Plan and regional goals. You will lead on preparing major tenders, support smaller submissions, and help ensure our proposals reflect our commitment to quality and client satisfaction.
Reporting to the Preconstruction Director, you’ll collaborate closely with Proposals Managers, Submissions Coordinators, Estimators, Planners, and Operational Teams to manage the end-to-end bid process, ensuring effective preparation, review, and submission of winning proposals.
What you will be doing as the Proposals Manager:
Bid Leadership: Lead major tenders and coordinate smaller bids, taking ownership of end-to-end submission processes, including key stakeholder engagement. Content Development: Collaborate with subject matter experts, lead storyboarding sessions, and ensure client needs are reflected in high-quality written proposals. Team Support: Provide guidance to Bid Coordinators, support workload distribution, and ensure adherence to processes and standards. Continuous Improvement: Contribute to the development of our submissions library and support the implementation of best practices across the Work-Winning Team.

Leadership: Engage and motivate teams, creating a positive work environment through effective leadership. Communication: Clearly convey ideas and adapt communication style to suit different audiences. Collaboration: Foster teamwork, support colleagues, and set realistic team objectives.
