Air Conditioning Engineer - Glasgow - Salary up to £38,000 DOE
CBW have an excellent new opportunity for an experienced Air Conditioning Engineer to join a leading facilities maintenance company. You will be responsible for carrying out small install/reactive maintenance on commercial contracts across the central belt of Scotland. More information on this excellent opportunity is below!
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain, service and troubleshoot a variety of air conditioning systems, including split systems, VRV/VRF systems, and chillers.
Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning coils, replacing filters, moving parts, to prolong the lifespan of HVAC equipment.
Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults in air conditioning units, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum efficiency.
Conduct inspections and assessments of HVAC systems to identify potential issues and recommend appropriate solutions.
Collaborate with other maintenance personnel and contractors to coordinate complex repairs and system upgrades.
Adhere to safety protocols and industry regulations to promote a safe working environment.Person Specification:
Proven experience as an Air Conditioning Engineer or similar role within the facilities management industry
F-Gas Cat 1 Regulations certification.
Full UK driving licence.
Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, including installation, maintenance, and repair techniques.
Effective communication and customer service skills.Salary & Benefits:
Competitive salary up to £38,000 per annum (depending on experience).
Van & fuel card supplied.
Core hours are Monday - Friday (40 hours per week).
Participation in an ‘out of hours’ on call rota 1 in 7 £100 P/W.
25 days annual leave plus bank holidays.
