Position: Mechanical Engineer
Location: London (EC4A)
Hours: 8am - 5pm
Pay: Circa £24 per hour
We are currently looking for an experienced Mechanical Engineer based in a large, public building in the City of London (EC4A).
Essential Qualifications and Skills
Recognized Mechanical and Electrical Engineering qualifications
18th Edition Wiring Regulations
Experienced in fault-finding for:
BMS (Building Management Systems)
LTHW (Low-Temperature Hot Water) systems
CLTHW (Closed Loop Hot Water) systems
HVAC, pumps, motors, LV power systems
First Aid at Work certification
Desirable Qualifications
City & Guilds 2391/2394/2395
Experience with Cooling Towers
IPAF Certification for 3a & 3b machines
Knowledge of the L8 Approved Code of Practice (ACOP)
Permit to Work (PTW) system knowledge and experience
Responsibilities
Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.
Effective communication with customers on site.
Follow Health and Safety guidelines and ensure robust practices.
Prioritize workload and manage compliance with contract KPIs and SLAs.
Support the account and broader business with other reasonable tasks.
