My client is looking for an experienced Estimator to join their team in Teddington, London. The ideal candidate will have a proven background working with contractors, delivering accurate estimates across a range of construction projects. Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for a variety of construction projects.
* Analyse project specifications, drawings, and requirements to provide accurate pricing.
* Liaise with suppliers, subcontractors, and internal teams to gather pricing information and ensure estimates are competitive.
* Review and evaluate tender documentation, identifying potential risks and opportunities.
* Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, costs, and regulations.
* Assist in the negotiation and procurement processes to support successful project delivery.
* Provide clear and concise reports on estimates, cost plans, and potential variations to senior management.
Requirements:
* Previous experience working as an Estimator for a contractor is essential.
* Strong understanding of construction methodologies, materials, and labour costs.
* Ability to interpret architectural and engineering drawings.
* Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
* Strong communication and negotiation skills.
* Proficient in estimating software and Microsoft Office.
* Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
