We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced HR professional to join our established, professional and welcoming secondary care team at Practice Plus Group on a fixed term contract for up to 12 months, supporting our services in our Portsmouth Surgical Centre and UTC department.

Working closely with the Portsmouth Hospital Director and Senior Management team, providing accurate, timely and business focused advice to the operational management. This will include acting as the HR lead on employee relations cases, providing guidance and support to both management and staff relating to the application of current and forthcoming employment legislation and existing PPG HR policy, providing expert advice and guidance in support of any necessary change management programmes, as well as working in partnership with the wider HR team in regard to recruitment and in particular retention.
The role will require a level of site-based presence at the Surgical Centre so travel is routinely required. As well as, once a week (Thursday) in our Reading Head Office. There will be opportunities to work from home on the days you are not required on site.
This is a full-time role offering a salary of £63,240 per annum, plus benefits which includes car allowance & private medical.
To be successful in this role, you will be CIPD qualified with 2-3 years experience in providing operational HR support, with a particular emphasis on employee relations, to a geographically diverse, people centric business.
Good knowledge of employment law, a calmness and clarity of thought whilst under pressure, and the ability to influence at different levels of the organisation are essential as are your excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
