  • Position :Specialist Pastry/Dessert Chef De Partie
  • Employer :Acclaimed Prestige Events Caterer
  • Location: Leicester, England
  • Gross OTE salary package : circa£32,000 +(incl.share of serv. chge + targeted bonus)
  • Weekly working hours / days48 hours /5 days

Your role involves skilfully preparing and artistically presenting a complex range of authentic artisan patisseries, desserts, sweetmeats, and other intricate specialties specific to the country and regional theme of our operation and menu.You will be responsible for a series of kitchen operational duties commensurate with job role, including training and supervising of Commi Chefs and other junior kitchen staff.

To qualify for selection you must have the following minimum requirements: -

  • Eligibility to live and work in UK
  • Experience in the preparation of authentic high quality pastry & dessert
  • Technical knowledge of ingredient quality, sourcing, measuring & formulation
  • Industrial training in a world renowned culinary/hospitality institute
  • Previous experience of at least 3 years in this role + min 3 years of prior experience in escalating job roles
  • Relevant Health & Safety credentials and knowledge of HACCP protocols
  • Resident within commutable distance of up to one hour
