Finance Director
£100,000 to £120,000 plus package

I am currently working with an expanding steel installation and project management specialist delivering complex construction projects. Duties:
* To provide strategic financial guidance to ensure that all business objectives are met.
* Be a mentor and a leader to all finance and commercial staff to ensure they can carry out their responsibilities to the required standard.
* Contribute to the company's overall business objectives and guide on financial strategy, developing and monitoring the operating budget to ensure financial targets are met and predict future financial trends.
* Ensure that the company complies with all financial and statutory regulations.
* Monitor external contracts and suppliers to ensure these are effective and deliver on service agreements.
* Develop all necessary policies to ensure sound financial management and control of the business.
* Report to management and stakeholders to provide advice and guidance on key business decisions.
* Monitor the training of accounting staff.
* Produce financial reports related to monthly management results and KPIs, budgets, account payables, account receivable and expenses.
* Analyse market trends and competitors; and
* Access, manage and minimize risk.
The Successful Applicant
* Strong managerial exposure with senior level accountancy background.
* Professional Accounting qualification
* Knowledge of the construction industry - particularly in respect of CIS scheme
